Swop and Stay Experiences from Fairview Homestead
Philda and family went in December 2022 on an epic family holiday to Namibia (6 adults and 4 children), and they managed to get swaps for ten nights 😍

An opportunity to establish network opportunities.
We ask our members on a regular basis their opinion and experience with Swop and Stay. This is what Philda from Fairview Homestead wrote to us:
“Regarding bartering: I see Swop and Stay as an opportunity to establish network opportunities. Walt Disney said, “Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.” Satisfied guests will return and recommend you to their colleagues, friends, and family. This means that I always do the best for my guests, irrespective of whether they are swaps or paying guests. All my swaps were not necessarily exchanging an apple for an apple, but I have never had a bad exchange with Swop and Stay.
I do not see it as offering free accommodation: to stay in the game you have to host, and we all know that providing accommodation comes at a price. I need to make a fair profit at the end of every month and for that, I need paying guests. So no, I cannot say yes to every request. But I am thankful for every swap because with every token gained, I have had some amazing weekends and holidays. We like to go away for a night or two within a 60 km radius of our home and we are spoiled for choice with establishments nearby. In December 2022 we went on an epic family holiday to Namibia (6 adults and 4 children), and we managed to get swaps for ten nights”
